Woodlands demolish Streethouse in first round

Woodlands took just two hours and thirty nine minutes to progress to the next round of the Black Sheep Trophy. They bowled out Pontefract League Champions, Streethouse for just 51.

In a lack-luster match Streethouse had no answer to the power and accuracy of the Woodlands bowling attack. Once again it was Richard Spittlehouse with figures of 4 - 32 who lead the way, well supported by Pieter Swanepoel 3 -10 and Tosh Baker with 2 - 3.

Top scorers for Streethouse were P McMullan with 14 and P Sykes with 11.

In reply Woodlands completed the rout in just eight overs, with the loss of Scott Richardson 12, and Sam Frankland 16.
