Hanging Heaton batsman Ryan Senior produced one of the innings of the season but finished on the losing side despite scoring 185 not out.
Senior blasted 13 sixes and 16 fours in just 93 balls as he helped his side to a score of 304-6, but his joy proved to be short lived as Keighley replied with 306-6 to win the JCT 600 Bradford League Second Teams Division One game with one ball to spare.
Keighley were indebted to opener Tim Burnley for inspiring their remarkable win. He made a magnificent 149 from 133 balls with four sixes and 18 fours.
Leaders Esholt recovered from 11-3 to defeat Yeadon by five wickets. Skipper Dave Dawson (95no) steered his side past Yeadon's total of 189-6 with good support from Chris Hester (34). The Yeadon innings had been built around the contributions of Will Darby (72) and Graham Simpson (55no). Chris Dawson - brother of skipper Dave - took five for 46.
Champions East Bierley are six points adrift in second place after securing their fourth straight win. They beat Pudsey Congs by seven wickets in a game reduced to 27 overs each. Lightcliffe enjoyed a three-wicket triumph over Farsley. Openers Robert Crookes (68) and Steve Hartley (33) shared a stand of 104 which was the platform for their sides's successful pursuit of Farsley's score of 190-7. Amir Yaqub chipped in with an unbeaten 42. Skipper Nigel Thornton (57no) top scored for Farsley.
Pudsey St Lawrence showed little mercy for struggling Spen Victoria.

Cleckheaton's woes continue. Last season's Division Two champions were dismissed for just 77 as they suffered a nine-wicket loss to Baildon. Opening bowlers Matthew Reed (5-28) and Joe Lonsdale (4-18) did the damage. Opener Des Wilkinson made an unbeaten 40 as Baildon cruised to victory.
Twelve-year-old Jack Seddon made a maiden half-century to help Morley beat Windhill by 84 runs to go top of Division Two. They are now four points ahead of Manningham Mills who had their game with Bankfoot abandoned.
