Brighouse have become the first team this season to have a point deducted for breaches of the Umpire Assessment rules.

Division One's bottom team have failed to submit an assessment sheet on time on three occasions.

Pudsey St Lawrence 2nds have collected their second fine and along with Hartshead Moor will lose a point if they breach the regulation again.

Rounds 5 & 6 Hartshead Moor were fined twice over the Bank Holiday weekend for failing to submit an Umpires' Assessment form in time.

It was their first offence and they will be fined £10 after breaching the regulation following the matches on Saturday, May 24 and Monday, May 26.

Round Four: Brighouse first team have failed to submit an Umpire Assessment form in time for the second time this season.

They have been fined £8 and if they breach the rule again they will suffer a one point deduction for each sheet they fail to submit.

Pudsey Congs seconds also incurred a £8 for failing to submit a sheet for matches played on May 17.

Round Three: Six clubs have been punsihed for failing to return their Umpire Assessment form in time after the third round of matches.

The first teams of Brighouse, Great Horton, Morley, Spen Victoria and Yeadon have all been fined £8 as have Baildon 2nd team. Any team that breaches the rule three times has a point deducted for that and each subsequent failure as well as being fined.

Each week we will publish a list showing each team's performance in regard to this rule. Captains have to fax a completed umpires assessment sheet to Chief Executive Bob Shckleton by Wednesday for a Saturday match and Thursday for a Sunday game.

Three clubs have been fined for breaches of the regulation in first round Sovereign Health Care Priestley Cup and Shield games. They are Bradford & Bingley and Yeadon first teams and Undercliffe seconds.

Round Two: Two clubs more failed to return their Umpire Assessment form in time from the second round of league matches.

Keighley's first team and Hartshead Moor seconds will each be fined £8. Baildon first team and Pudsey St Lawrernce seconds were each fined £8 last week.
