The JCT 600 Bradford League Management Board have told clubs that they intend to use e-mail and this website to distribute information to clubs.

Chief Executive Bob Shackleton announced the decision this week in a letter he has described as "possibly the last communication you will receive in this form."

In future minutes of meetings, agendas and official communications will be distributed by e-mail direct to club officials. Downloadable copies will also be posted on the website.

Clubs will also be expected to download and print off sufficient copies of the match report form for each of their games this season. Registration forms, transfer forms and the annual report will also be available for clubs to download.

Treasurer David Young said: "We have used increasing amounts of e-mail communication in the past year and the response from clubs has been far better to this form of communication that to the written form.

"We have seen our costs for postage and printing soar in recent years and by using e-mail and the website we can dramatically reduce our costs and improve the speed and quality of our communication.

"We have established a bank of e-mail contacts in each club and we will be using these to get the right message to the right person as quickly as possible."

To assist the switch to the new method of communication we will be building a new alerts system into this website which will tell club officials when new documentation is available and will also give them a warning when the deadline for returning an official document is approaching.
