Division One

Bowling Old Lane moved in to fourth place after inflicting a second defeat of the season on leaders Pudsey St Lawrence.

All-rounder Fazal Hussain had an outstanding game. He scored 68 as Old Lane made 256-9 and followed up by taking five for 41 as St Lawrence were dismissed for 208.

Skipper Haqeeq Siddique (74) was the other main scorer for Old Lane as they built a match-winning title despite the determined bowling of Chris Hester (4-69).

St Lawrence were unable to give sufficient support to their skipper James Milligan who made 98 as they went down to a 48-run defeat.

Third-placed Hanging Heaton proved too good for Cleckheaton. Nabeel Hafeez (5-26) and Umar Rehman (3-20) skittled out Cleckheaton for 102. Only wicketkeeper Chris Dyer (46) offered any resistance. Hanging Heaton lost four wickets knocking off the runs.

Bottom team Keighley gained their first win when they beat second-bottom Pudsey Congs by 47 runs. Paul Wilkinson ensured that they ended their run of nine successive defeats by taking six for 32 as Pudsey Congs were dismissed for 158 despite a defiant 80 from Phil Allinson.

Jonathan Wilkinson (64no) and Richard Wood (50no) had earlier guided Keighley to a score of 205-5.

East Bierley's fading hopes of winning a third successive league championship suffered another body blow when they suffered a 61-run defeat against Farsley.

Harvey Anderson (76), Barry Frankland (52) and James Higgins (52) carried Farsley to a total of 235-6, then Ryan Lumb (4-65) and James Higgins (3-49) combined to dismiss Bierley for 174. Gareth Davis (53) and Leigh Abbott (52) were the top scorers for East Bierley.

Even the presence of overseas player Nawaz Sardar couldn't save Undercliffe from defeat. Baildon opener Ross Todd hit a splendid 101 as he and Darren Wilson (46no) shared an unbroken first wicket stand of 162 which earned their side a ten-wicket win.

Sardar made top score of 54 for Undercliffe who were dismissed for 159 as spinner Jamie Abbott took five for 40.

Richard Winn hit an unbeaten 74 as Morley overcame Woodlands by five wickets. Winn and Ash Daley (40) ensured that Morley eased past a Woodlands score of 169-8. Stephen Pearson top scored with 53 while Eddie Ream (3-20) was Morley's best bowler.
