Second teams Division One leaders Yeadon sent last year's beaten finalists Cleckheaton crashing out of this season's competition.

Yeadon won a low-scoring encounter by 26 and the men they have to thank are Dave Summerscales (3-9) and Ryan Mooney (3-19) who dismissed Cleckheaton for 104.

Yeadon had made 130 all out batting first with Kieran Hanogue making a determined 59 in the face of some steady bowling from Gareth Jowitt (4-16), Stuart Houlbrook (3-39) and Joe Bowman (3-18).

Holders East Bierley were forced to field a patched up side but were still far too strong for Great Horton as they triumphed by nine wickets.

After bowling out their Division Two opponents for 111, East Bierley raced to their target with Liam Walsh making 51 not out and Arran Brook (37).

Bradford & Bingley have lost their three opening Division Two fixtures but bounced back to trounce Division One side Bowling Old Lane by 171 runs.

After making 204 all out with Warren Allitt hitting 97 they bowled out their opponents for just 33 with Adam Swallow taking five for six and Richard Slater (5-20).

Hanging Heaton moved into the second round with a comfortable 45-run success at Baildon Umar Rehman (48), Fran Nelson (39) and Michael Royce (37) helped their side to a total of 210-8. Baildon's best bowlers were Mohammad Abbas (3-44) and Jamie Abbott 3-40.

Baildon were dismissed for 165 - a score which owed much to the fine inning by Mohammad Abbas (91). Chris Goodaire (4-35) and Adeel Hafeez (4-35) were the pick of the bowlers.

There was a tense finish at Cavendish Road as Gomersal edge out Idle by one-wicket. Skipper Chris Rhodes followed up his knock of 75 on Saturday with a crucial 41 as his side just limped over the winning line. Andy Kemp (3-18) and Tom Johnson (3-17) were the best of the Idle bowlers as they fought hard to defend a score of 108.

Hartshead Moor ran out convincing 103-runs win over Keighley. Trent Otto hit an unbeaten 81 and was supported by Chris Mould (37) and Joel Barnett (30) as they compiled a challenging score of 242-7. Paul Wilkinson was the best Keighley bowler with four for 46 and he capped a good all-round display by making the top score of 56 as Keighley were dismissed for 139. Jeff Wind bowled well again to take four for nine.

Undercliffe and Pudsey St Lawrence both had easy passages into the second round. Undercliffe bowled out Bankfoot for just 52 with Royston Light taking four for 14 and Andy Wilsdon 3-16. Undercliffe reached their victory target without losing a wicket.

St Lawrence defeated Brighouse by 10 wickets. They bowled out the Division Two side for 77 with Richard Hutchinson taking three for 16 and Richard Marsden (3-27). Lee Mortimer was unbeaten on 49 when Saints sealed their win.

Usman Arshad took five for 19 as he bowled Saltaire to a 35-run win over Manningham Mills. Thanks to Arshad, Mills were dismissed for 179 - a score which owed much to Zafran Ghaffar who made 66. Saltaire made 214-7 with Robert Worsnop making 59 and Usman Munir (44) despite the determined efforts of Usman Arshad (5-12)
