Windhill won the the inaugural Undercliffe Twenty/20 tournament when they beat the home side in the final.
Undercliffe made 175-5, a score which owed much to the efforts of Bankfoot's South African batsman Greg Fotheringham who was deputising for Woodlands' Safraz Ahmed as the guest player.
Windhill knocked off the runs in 17.4 overs with their guest - former Yorkshire player Gary Fellows making 51. He was well supported by wicketkeeper Luke Holroyd (45).
Windhill qualified to play Undercliffe by defeating Thackley Thundercats by five wickets.
Thackley never recovered from losing early wickets and their total of 129 all out in 19.5 overs was below par. Maher Ali top scored with 22 but nobody could dominate left arm paceman Craig Wiseman who took three for 24.
Windhill, thanks to 74 from their guest player David Paynter of Wrenthorpe, and 26 from former Undercliffe man Farakh Hussain reached their total in 12.3 overs.
Tonight's final starts
at 6.30pm and Windhill will be looking to avenge the
nine-wicket defeat they suffered against Undercliffe in a Division Two match last Saturday.
Undercliffe clinched a place in the final with an opening night win over Jer Lane.
Undercliffe made 206-8 with Andrew Duckworth hitting 75, then Jer Lane replied with 186-4. The highlight of their innings was a magnificent 97 from Johnny Lister.
Each of the teams is bolstered with guest players, Undercliffe's is Woodlands' overseas player Safraz Ahmed. Windhill's guests are the Wrenthorpe pair of Gary Fellows and David Paynter.
