The top two teams in Division One, Pudsey St Lawrence and Hanging Heaton will lock horns in the Sovereign Health Care Priestley Shield final at Spen Victoria on Sunday, August 9.
St Lawrence defeated holders East Bierley by 71 runs while Hanging Heaton beat Division Two side Hartshead Moor by six wickets.
East Bierley, who had appeared in the past five finals, saw their hopes of winning the trophy for a fourth successive year ended at Tofts Road.
Their side - which was without skipper Matthew Anderson, Tom Owens and Scott Douglas who were playing for the first team in the Priestley Cup semi-final - was well beaten.
St Lawrence's renowned batting power came to the fore as they posted a score of 254. Duncan Butler (45), Chris Sharkey (43) and Cameron Roy (42) were the main contributors while Leigh Abbott (4-60) was the best Bierley bowler.
East Bierley were dismissed for 183 despite a battling 51 from Paul Ellis. Former East Bierley all-rounder Chris Hester took three for 50 as St Lawrence secured their final place.
Hartshead Moor saw their hopes of Shield glory shattered at Bennett Lane, but their opener Nicky Ward emerged with great credit. He batted with great tenacity to carry his bat for 85 not out as Hartshead Moor were dismissed for 150. Michael Smith took four for 23 and Umar Rehman (3-35).
Hartshead Moor eased to their target with Howard Ellis making an unbeaten 74 and Nabeel Hafeez hitting 34.
