Yeadon recorded their first win of the competition when they defeated Bradford & Bingley by eight runs,
Andrew Robertson (4-18) and Paul Machell (4-23) dismissed Bradford & Bingley for 93 as Yeadon defended their modest total of 101-8.
Kez Ahmed produced a fine all round display as East Bierley defeated plucky Hartshead Moor by two runs in a thrilling Group 4 encounter.
Ahmed made 49 as East Bierley made 188-7 batting first and followed up by taking three for 17 as Hartshead Moor threatened to pull off a dramatic win.
Unluckily for them they just fell short of their target despite the fine efforts of Martin Ellis (36), Jonathan Gould (30) and Trent Otto (30), finishing on 186-7. Gould and Ellis shared a stand of 68 for the fifth wicket which threatened to take the game away from East Bierley.
In addition to Ahmed, who hit four sixes and five fours in his 49, skipper Greg Wood was the outstanding batsman with a knock of 62 which was laced with a six and 12 fours.
It was East Bierley's first win in a tightly congested group in which they now have five points, the same total as Cleckheaton and Hartshead Moor, but trail them both on runs difference.
Cleckheaton remained top of the pile despite losing by four wickets to Lightcliffe. Australian Simon Balck (34no) steered the villagers home with five balls to spare as they overcame a Cleckheaton score of 151 all out. Ian Nicholson, who scored a century on the opening night against Brighouse, made 44 for Cleckheaton.
It is tight too in Group 3 where Hnging Heaton and Gomersal both recorded their second wins. Hanging Heaton proved too good for Morley, making 153 and dismissing their rivals for 112 to remain top on runs difference.
Gomersal skipper Richard Whitehurst made 45 to steer his side to a four-wicket win over previously unbeaten Bankfoot. The best of the Bankfoot bowlers was their regular wicketkeeper John Barton who took three for 22, but his side were unable to defend a below-par score of 96 all out.
James Holdsworth (30) was the only batsman to make an impression as Adam Greenwood (3-10) and Adam Minnett (3-22) made their mark.
Keighley recorded their first win when they beat Group 2 leaders Saltaire by ten runs. It looked as if they might be facing an uphill task when they were bowled out in 18 overs for 107, but they roared back to dismiss Saltaire for 97.
Paul Quinlan (27) and Jake Best (25) were the top scorers for Keighley against some good bowling from the promising Nadeem Mahommed (4-7) and Yassir Abbass (3-22). Abbass emerged as Saltaire's top scorer with 29 as Andrew Coppen took three for ten to seal Keighley's win.
