East Bierley and Hanging Heaton make last eight

East Bierley and Hanging Heaton are the latest teams to secure their places in the quarter-finals.

East Bierley defeated Lightcliffe by 12 runs in a match decided on countback when bad light halted the match after 10 overs of the Lightcliffe innings.

At the time they were 86-4 with Jonathan Wilson unbeaten on 41, replying to East Bierley's 196-8, an innings dominated again by Greg Wood (69) and Tom Owens (45).

East Bierley had made 98-1 at the 10 over mark in their innings and therefore won the match.

The result leaves Lightcliffe needing a favour from East Bierley. Lightcliffe have to beat Brighouse in their final game and then hope that East Bierley beat Cleckheaton to make the floodlit stage of the competition.

Hartshead Moor beat Brighouse on countback in the other Group 4 game. Hartshead Moor piled up 183-5, but rain intervened with Brighouse 37-2 after seven overs. Hartshead Moor had been 85-2 at the same point.

Bradford & Bingley, who will host the floodlit stages, beat Baildon by seven wickets in their final match and look set to qualify along with either Yeadon or Saltaire.

Off spinner David Clow took four for 17 against his old club as Baildon were dismissed for 85. Another ex-Baildon player, Matthew Duce, made an unbeaten 30 to speed Bradford & Bingley to victory.

Farsley, who have already clinched their quarter-final spot, trounced Idle by nine wickets in Group 1. They dismissed the home side for 101 and knocked off the runs for the loss of one wicket with Dan Clayton hitting 42 not out and Shabbir Rashid (34no).

Manningham Mills recorded their first win when they beat Pudsey Congs on countback in a game interrupted by rain.

Congs made 135-2 in 18 overs with James Bragg (57no) and the consistent Callum Oliver (42) leading the way. Mills were 56-2 after eight overs when play was halted, with Adil Islam making 31. Congs had been 48-0 at a similar points so Mills won by eight runs

Hanging Heaton recovered from 48-5 to make sure they qualified for the last eight with a three-wicket win over Spen Victoria. They eventually overtook Spen's score of 14-8 with one ball to spare thanks to Mich.ael Smith (58). Dan Abbott (3-30) was Spen's best bowler. Adam Brown (34) top scored for Spen who finished the competition without a point.

Bankfoot, who are battling with Gomersal for second spot, beat Morley by seven wickets. they restricted Morley to 103-6 despite 30 not out from Ryan Dowse, and knocked off the runs with Edward Walmsley (37) and James Holdsworth (33) leading the way.
