It will be hosts Bradford & Bingley v Pudsey St Lawrence in the first Dyson Insulations Twenty/20 Cup final.
It means that father and son Steve and Chris Thompson will be on opposite sides.
Steve will keep wicket for St Lawrence while Chris is the key all-rounder for Bradford & Bingley.
Chris demonstrated his great value to Bradford & Bingley wih a fine all-round performance in the five-wicket semi-final win over East Bierley.
First he took one for four in four spot on overs of medium pace which included two maiden overs. He then followed up with a knock of 30 a s his side overhauled a disappoining East Bierley total of 131-6 with three balls to spare.
Thompson was well supported with the ball by off spinner Matthew Cockshott (2-14) as the East Bierley scoring rate was kept in check after a flying start. Paul Hutchison (27) and Kez Ahmed (25no) tried to quicken the tempo, but a total of 131-6 was a below ar score
When Bradford & Bingley replied they were in trouble at 51-4 befor Thompson and Davies sparked a matgchwinning revival.
Alex Stead hit an unbeaten 77 as Pudsey St Lawrence clinched their place in the inaugural final of the Dyson Insulations Twenty/ 20 cup under the Wagon Lane floodlights.
Stead hit three sixes and eight fours in a 57 ball innings which guided St Lawrence safely passed Cleckheaton's score of 148-4 with 11 balls of their 20 overs still remaining.
Gareth Clough with a brisk 24 was the next top scorer in the six-wicket win while Mark Cummins 2-24 was the pick of the Cleckheaton bowlers.
Batting first, Cleckheaton suffered a huge blow when their overseas player Asif Khan was lbw without scoring.
Mally Nicholson (34), Cummins (29no) and Craig Thornton (29no) all made useful contributions but extras at 38 represented the top score for Cleckheaton. Twenty-six of the extras were wides.
