Division One
Sarfraz Ahmed provided the fireworks as Woodlands added strength to their title challenge with a 71-run win over fellow contenders Undercliffe.
Ahmed smashed an unbeaten 71 from just 29 balls with five sixes and seven fours as he transformed the Woodlands innings,
He arrived at the wicket with his side deep in trouble at 109-6 after 41 overs and proceeded to dominate an unbroken seventh-wicket stand of 84 with opener Sam Frankland who batted through the innings to make 69 not out.
His patience allied to Ahmed's explosive batting ensured that Woodlands finished with a competitive total of 193-6.
Undercliffe, who had lost their previous two matches to Baildon and Pudsey St Lawrence, were bowled out for 122. Only Farakh Hussain (45) played with any assurance as Richard Spittlehouse (4-33), that man Ahmed (3-38) and Chris Brice (3-9) went to work. Brice was a model of economy with his first six overs being maidens in an impressive 11 over stint.
Woodlands are currently third with 196 points and are just eight adrift of second- placed Bradford & Bingley and 16 behind Pudsey St Lawrence.
Leaders St Lawrence had a comfortable five-wicket win over second-bottom Saltaire at Tofts Road. The visitors were restricted to 169-9 despite the efforts of the former North Leeds duo of Tim Jackson (52) and Farhan Khan (43). They were kept in check by the tight bowling of James Smith (3-26) and Gareth Clough (3-59),
St Lawrence eased to their target in 33.5 overs with skipper James Smith striking 71 while opener Mark Robertshaw made 32.
Bradford & Bingley won the showdown between the two Sovereign Health Care Priestley Cup finalists by 47 runs, but not before Farsley had given them a few scares.
Bradford & Bingley were reduced to 71-6 after a fine spell of seam bowling from Farsley skipper Chris Henry (5-35). They were revived by a tenacious innings of 45 from Chris Thompson and useful contributions from Richard McCarthy (29) and James Davies (24). Their eventual total of 169 ultimately proved to be a winning score. Left-arm spinner Lorenzo Inghram backed up Henry's work with three for 26.

Farsley found the going tough when they replied and McCarthy (4-35) soon had them in trouble. A breezy 44 from Joe Greaves briefly gave Farsley hope but it was quickly extinguished by Thompson (3-15) and Phil Slater (3-10).
East Bierley made the division's highest score of the day when they made 240-9 on their way to a 68-run win over Pudsey Congs which earned them a maximum 20 points.
Andrew Rennison (61), Greg Wood (46), Ismail Dawood (38) and Gavin Hamilton (34) all made valuable contributions despite some fine bowling from Eugene Burzler(6-58).
Congs soon found themselves in trouble against East Bierley's opening bowlers Paul Hutchison (4-48) and Muhammad Azharullah (3-40) and were eventually dismissed for 172. The returning Matthew Doidge top scored with 47.
Yeadon remain in the relegation zone despite a second-successive win. They followed up their triumph over Bankfoot with a 12-run success against Gomersal.
Damon Gormley led the way for Yeadon with a rousing innings of 90 as they made 209 in their 50 overs. Rob Burton (3-43) and Shahzaib Khan (3-56) were the best of the Gomersal bowlers.
Gomersal looked to be on course to win the match when Phil Carter (69) and Richard Gould (52) added 122 for the second wicket, but Yeadon held their nerve. Carl Heptinstall (4-38) helped them to restrict Gomersal to 197-7.
The same 12-run margin separated the sides at Moorend where Cleckheaton defeated bottom team Bankfoot.
For a time it looked as if Bankfoot would snatch their first win of the season, but their hopes were dashed by their former player - teenage off spinner Edward Walmsley (5-23). The player who helped them clinch promotion last season, pushed them a little closer to the Division One exit.
Chasing a modest Cleckheaton score of 169, Bankfoot were dismissed for 157 which must have been disappointing for their bowlers who worked so hard, in particular Greg Colehan (3-26) and Andrew Duckworth (3-54)
Division Two
Hanging Heaton's nail-biting one-wicket win at Windhill could prove to be hugely influential in their quest to become Division Two champions.

It earned them 18 valuable points and with second-placed Lightcliffe losing by 67 runs to Spen Victoria they now hold a 50-point lead with just seven game to play.
Former Yorkshire leg-spinner Mark Lawson was the man who turned the game Hanging Heaton's way. First he took four for 69 as Windhill, inspired by an unbeaten 103 from the ever-consistent Ahsan Butt, made 203-8. Then he made 51 as Hanging Heaton recovered from 0-2 to win with an over to spare,
Lawson and Alan Mynett (31no) put the finishing touches to a recovery started by Harvey Anderson (47) and Haroon Rashid (38).
Lightcliffe were undone by the bowling of Spen Victoria's former Yorkshire and Northampton seamer Tosh Baker. He took six for 30 as Lightcliffe were dismissed for 131 in reply to a Spen total of 198 which owed much to the determined efforts of Will Smith (47), Sean Raven (34) and Matthew Speck (30). Off spinner Umar Salim was the most successful bowler with four for 37.

Lightcliffe's second successive defeat - they lost to Manningham Mills last week - has enabled Bowling Old Lane to draw level on points with them.
Skipper Amjid Khan took four for 19 and Josh Jackson (3-4) as lowly Idle were skittled out for 89. Raqeeb Younis raced to 51 not out as Old Lane cruised to an eight-wicket win.
Hartshead Moor and Manningham Mills both had convincing wins to keep their promotion challenges alive.
Simon North took four for 30 as Morley - despite 35 from Colin Nuthall - were dismissed for 111 in reply to a Hartshead Moor score of 168-8 in which Jonathan Gould made the top score of 34. Australian Jason Wilson took four for Morley but his side ended up being beaten by 57 runs,
An unbeaten 92 from Gulsheraz Ahmed enabled Manningham Mills to defeat Brighouse by eight wickets in a match reduced to 45 overs a side by rain.
Ahmed gained good support from the consistent Amjid Hussain (38) and Shezad Aslam (33no) as Mills overhauled a Brighouse total of 194-5 which was built around a determined innings of 93 from Ben Moody and 47 from skipper Paul Cummins.
Great Horton are still rooted to the bottom without a win to their name. They never looked like halting their losing sequence as they were bowled out by Keighley for 94. Paul Quinlan (4-47) and Luke Chapman (3-19) did the damage. Keighley lost just one wicket as they cruised to victory.
