Holders East Bierley and Division One leaders Undercliffe have both been eliminated from the Sovereign Health Care Priestley Cup.
East Bierley saw their hopes of retaining the trophy disappear as they suffered a 40-run defeat at the hands of Bradford & Bingley, while Undercliffe lost a thrilling tie at Farsley by three wickets.
Veteran seamer Richard McCarthy (3-33) was as economical as ever as Bradford & Bingley restricted East Bierley to 166 in reply to their 206. Only Greg Wood with 56 made an impression for East Bierley.
Sri Lankan teenager Naweed Ghany followed up his sparkling 149 not out against bankfoot last Sunday with 84 as Bradford & Bingley overcame some tight bowling from Bierley's left arm spinner Luke Jarvis (4-31) and Paul Hutchison (3-24) to make 206 all out.
Farsley, who were beaten finalists last year, reached the last four once again thanks to a well-judge run chase which was spearheaded by their West Indian Lorenzo Ingram.
He made 88 and shared in two decisive partnerships as Farsley chased down an Undercliffe total of 287-7. Shabbir Rashid (64) out on 108 for the fourth wicket with Inghram while David Syers (54no) added 105 for the sixth wicket with the all-rounder.
Undercliffe's total of 287-7 owed much to the contributions of Shafiq Choudhry (67) and Farakh Hussain (52no). Hussain was particularly aggressive hitting five sixes and a four.
Completing the all-Division One semi-final line-up on July 11 are Cleckheaton, six-wicket winners over Saltaire, and Woodlands who defeated Division Two leaders Hanging Heaton by 50 runs
Saltaire opener Tim Jackson made the day’s highest individual score of 99not out but his side’s total of 214-5 wasn't sufficient.
Jackson's innings contained a six and 13 fours. Waleed Akhtar weighed in with a typically aggressive 40 while Tinishe Gornwe made 39.Marcus Walmsley bowled economically to take 1-10 in seven tight overs.
The young all rounder followed up by making top score of 52 as Cleckheaton cruised to victory. Former Yorkshire batsman Neil Nicholson made 35not out and opener Mark Cummins (31).
Woodlands, who are bidding to reach their sixth final in eight seasons, defeated the Division Two leaders Hanging Heaton by 50 runs.
Opener Scott Richardson, only recently back after a lay off with a broken thumb, made 58 as Woodlands made 237-9 batting first. Skipper Pieter Swanepoel (32) was the other main contributor.
Swanepoel, was also in good form with the ball. He took three for 59 as he and Sarfraz Ahmed (3-31) killed off Hanging Heaton's hopes of repeating their Heavy Woollen Cup win over Woodlands. Nick Bresnan (41), Mark Lawson (35) and Rob McFarlane (31) were the main contributors to a total of 187.
