Division One
Leaders Pudsey St Lawrence face one of their biggest tests of the season on Monday when they visit their local rivals Pudsey Congs.
Matches between the two are always keenly contested and this will be no exception as St Lawrence strive to maintain their grip on top spot against a Congs side currently occupying fifth place.
Congs will be anxious to prove that last week's defeat by Undercliffe was a temporary blip and they will be boosted by the presence of their skipper Glenn Roberts who missed that game.
St Lawrence are expected to be at full strength and will be looking for their powerful batting line up to provide a platform for victory.
Two teams who will be hoping that St Lawrence slip up are Woodlands and Undercliffe.
While Woodlands have a tricky looking away match at Farsley,
Undercliffe face basement boys Bankfoot and will be confident of recording their fifth win in six matches.
Two newcomers who have mad e big impressions for Undercliffe this season have been former Yorkshire batsman Ashley Metcalfe and wicketkeeper Luke Holroyd.
Metcalfe
has flourished since his move from Farsley and is in sight of a significant career milestone - he needs just 44 runs to become only the third batsman to make 15,000 Bradford League runs. His Undercliffe colleague Mark Gilliver and Keighley's Richard Robinson reached the landmark last season.
Holroyd, recruited from Windhill, has scored quick runs at crucial times in three of his team's victories and Undercliffe will be looking to him to maintain that form.
The match at Red Lane pits Farsley's in-form batsmen against the Woodlands bowling attack which has looked the best balanced in the top flight this season.
Fourth-placed East Bierley will need to be on their guard as they look to extend their good run against Cleckheaton.
The visitors make a habit of beating top sides as they proved just two weeks ago when inflicting a first defeat of the season on Pudsey St Lawrence.
Cleckheaton will be hoping that their new ball bowlers John Wood and Ian Wardlaw can make early inroads into East Bierley's powerful batting line up which should be boosted by the return of Scotland skipper Gavin Hamilton.
Champions Baildon
have been hampered by injuries to key bowlers Andy Walker and Mushtaq Ahmed in recent games and that has corresponded with a dip in their fortunes which they will want to end at Gomersal.
The home side may be battling relegation at the present time but they did beat Baildon in the Heavy Woollen Cup last month and would dearly like to repeat that triumph to climb out of the danger zone.
Saltaire are another side looking to get out of the relegation zone but they face a tough test at Wagon Lane where they take on inconsistent Bradford & Bingley.
The home side have lost four of their six games and have failed to live up to expectations, so Saltaire will be looking to exploit their rivals' fragile confidence.
Division Two
Table-topping Hanging Heaton face an examination of their championship credentials when they visit Keighley.
The home side are anxious to make up lost ground after plunging from second to fifth after losing at Windhill last week.
It promises to be an absorbing contest and with a third of the season now gone, both sides will want to put down a marker for the remainder of the season.
The fixture list has also thrown up two more intriguing promotion battles with fourth-placed Lightcliffe at home to second-placed Hartshead Moor, while Manningham Mills visit their old rivals Bowling Old Lane.
The Lightcliffe v Hartshead Moor clash is an intriguing contest. Hartshead Moor have been in top form recently and have proved themselves to be a well-balanced and effective outfit, but they will be aware that Lightcliffe carry plenty of batting power.
Former Yorkshire batsman Chris Taylor has been in stunning form hitting four centuries - two in the league and two in the Sovereign Health Care Priestley Cup. Along with skipper Jonathan Wilson, Taylor has given the Lightcliffe batting a formidable look.
Bowling Old Lane will have opening bowler Zubair Najeeb back for their promotion clash against Manningham Mills. Najeeb and skipper Amjid Khan - who had a spell with Mills - have been key men in the recent Old Lane revival.
Mills - apart from a surprise defeat at Brighouse - have
performed consistently with opening bowler Zeeshan Qasim and experienced batsman Amjid Hussain setting the tone for their side's success.
Ever since beating Mills, Brighouse have been on the slide so bottom team Idle will be hoping they can register their first win at Cavendish Road.
Fellow strugglers Great Horton have a testing fixture against Windhill, while in the remaining game lowly Spen Victoria tackle Morley with both sides in need of a boost.
