Division One
Baildon skipper Ross Todd hit a magnificent 135 not out as he led his side to an impressive nine-wicket win at Bradford & Bingley.
Todd struck a six and 15 fours and shared in an opening stand of 178 with wicketkeeper Darren Wilson (50) as Baildon made light of chasing a Bradford & Bingley score of 216 all out on a fine Wagon Lane pitch.
Opener Warren Allitt set the tone for the afternoon with a fine knock of 108 for Bradford & Bingley which included 12 fours. Andrew Clarke chipped in with (44) before wickets tumbled against the bowling of in-form Matthew Reed (5-54) and Jamie Abbott (3-59)

The win - Baildon's second of the campaign - puts them in second place just a point behind newly-promoted Lightcliffe. Last season's Division Two champions beat Cleckheaton by 13 runs.
Steve Hartley (46) and Joe Shaw (44) steered Lightcliffe to 166 all out in the face of some good bowling from Stuart Houlbrook (4-36) and Sean Howe (3-42). Cleckheaton, despite a defiant 66 from Chris Dobson, were bowled out for 153 with James Godden (3-47) and 14-year-old spinner Siraj Hussain (3-41) taking the bowling honours.
The day's third century came at Bowling Old Lane. Opener Khalid Rehman stroked his way to an unbeaten 105 as they defeated Sovereign Health Care Priestley Shield holders Hanging Heaton by 47 runs.
Thanks to Rehman, Old Lane reached 250-7before restricting their rivals to 199-9. Franny Nelson made 55 and Chris Goodair (43) for Hanging Heaton.
Fourteen-year-old batsman James McNichol made 82 as Morley eased to a 76-run win over Pudsey Congs. Rob Smith (42) gave good support to McNichol as Morley reached 237-8 despite the efforts of Ramandeep Kang (5-49), Congs were restricted to 161-8 in reply despite a knock of 40 from Callum Oliver. Spencer Horsfall (3-39) and Liam Fynn (3-40) were the pick of the bowlers,
Left-arm opening bowler George Saville took six for 40 as Woodlands defeated East Bierley by 117 runs. Matthew Anderson made a defiant 75 for East Bierley but lacked support as they were bowled out for 153. Woodlands' score of 270-8 was built around the fine contributions of Greig Godfrey (71), Phil Walker (60) and Zahir Hussain (56)
Champions Pudsey St Lawrence recovered from their opening day defeat to beat Yeadon by six wickets. Consistent batting from Phil Wilson (53), James Milligan (43) and Chris Hester (40no) enabled them to overhaul a Yeadon score of 188-6 which included useful contributions from James Riley (45no) and Andrew Pickering (43).
Division Two
Nigel Hanson struck a remarkable 55-ball century as Bankfoot recovered from 44-5 to defeat Gomersal by five-wickets.
Hanson smashed nine sixes and ten fours in an unbeaten 107 as he and James Holdsworth (77no) stood the game on its head with an unbroken sixth-wicket stand of 168.
Bankfoot raced past Gomersal's score of 211 all out in just 27.1 overs. Holdsworth was almost as severe on the bowling as Hanson with five sixes and six fours in his unbeaten 70. Gomersal could be forgiven for wondering what had hit them.

Simon Halls (51), Josh Fell (41), Craig Lightowler (35) and Paul Huddlestone (34) appeared to have put Gomersal in a good position until Hanson and Holdsworth went to work. Wayne Robinson was Bankfoot's best bowler with four for 49.
Windhill are the early season leaders. Tahir Amin made a superb 111 and Jack Holland (90) as they chased down an Undercliffe score of 234 all out to win by seven wickets with nine overs to spare. Amin's century capped a fine individual performance. Earlier he had taken four for 47. Sam Brookes (57) and Jack Carter (42) were the best of the Undercliffe batsmen.
Great Horton are second after a 58-run triumph over Manningham Mills. Mohammad Ramzan (79) and Ziarat Ashraf (59) helped them to make 287 all out. Mills replied with 229-9 with Abdul Jabbar hitting 78 and Majid Jehangir (45). For Great Horton Amir Najeeb took four for 58.
Spen Victoria, who missed out on promotion on the final day of last season, are third after picking up 20 points for defeating Brighouse by 91 runs.
It proved to be something of a good day for the Warriner family. Not wishing to be outdone by his son Robert who took seven for 38 and a hat-trick for the first team against Hanging Heaton, Dad Derek made 68 as Spen reached 252-4. Sean Raven made an unbeaten 56 while Chris Allen chipped in with 3. Brighouse were dismissed for 16- with off spinner Allen taking four for 27 and Adam Brown (3-38).
Mohammad Waqas (3-25) and Michael Robinson (3-12) bowled Saltaire to a 57-run win at Idle. The home side were dismissed for 108 replying to Saltaire's score of 165-7.
Hartshead Moor were a team in a hurry. Ally Byrne (4-16), Jack Baldwin (3-6) and Louis Brooke (3-20) skittled Keighley for just 71. Hartshead Moor knocked off the runs without loss with Trent Otto hitting an unbeaten 45. |
