Baildon are now 12 points ahead of St Lawrence who must be concerned about their recent batting frailties - they were dismissed for just 70 at Woodlands last week.

For Baildon the win is another step towards what they hope will be a league and shield double - they face Yeadon in the final of the Sovereign Health Care Priestley Shield on Sunday, August 8.

St Lawrence's total wasn't the lowest of the day. That dubious distinction belonged to Pudsey Congs who were bowled out for just 35 as they suffered a 103-run defeat at Woodlands.

Teenager George Saville was the chief destroyer with five for eight. Earlier, Saville had made 55 as Woodlands were bowled out for 138 with Callum Oliver taking six for 58.

The division's highest score was made by Sovereign Health Care Priestley Shield finalists Yeadon at Farsley. They made 246-9 due largely to the contributions of Dave Thompson (78), Danny Hall (53) and James Riley (52) as they secured a 69-run win. Terry Staniforth (3-38),and James Higggins (3-47) were the best of the Farsley bowlers,

Farsley made 177-9 in reply with Higgins (39) and Ben Tempest (36no) the top scorers against some good bowling from Ryan Mooney (3-40) and Matt Yeadon (3-46).

Bowling Old Lane's Khalid Rehman made the highest individual score in Division One. He was unbeaten on 98 as Old Lane made 203-7 before dismissing Bradford & Bingley for 156 to secure a 47-run win. Andrew Clarke top scored for Bradford & Bingley with 41 but couldn't prevent Talat Sajawal (5-30) and Haroon Mehervan (3-24) setting up Old Lane's victory.

There was no joy for bottom team East Bierley. The 2008 league and shield winners look set for relegation after a six-wicket defeat by third-placed Lightcliffe.

East Bierley's disappointing total of 123 was never going to seriously challenge Lightcliffe. Skipper John Davis fought hard to make 38 for East Bierley who had problems against the leg spin of Siraj Hussain (4-26). Bruce Lunn's unbeaten 39 and David Knight's 32 helped Lightcliffe to reach their target.

Cleckheaton's hopes of avoiding relegation suffered another setback as they lost by 29 runs to Morley, Morley made 171 all out thanks to useful contributions from Richard Jubb (40), Andy Hayward (40) and Naveed Siddique (33). Young Shahid Rehman was the best of the Cleckheaton bowlers with four for 42.

Cleckheaton, despite 65 from Massaver Masadiq and 34 from Ian Gatenby, were bowled out for 142 with Matthew Dowse taking three for 40 and Spencer Horsfall (3-38).

Division Two

Leaders Hartshead Moor maintained their promotion push with a convincing six-wicket win over Brighouse.

Jamie Priestley took five for 12 as Brighouse were dismissed for 86. Lewis Brooke then chipped in with 36 as victory was achieved.

Hartshead Moor are nine points ahead of Gomersal who compiled the day's biggest total of 270-6 as they defeated Idle by 176 runs.

Simon Halls (88no), Stuart Donohoe (66) and Josh Fell (54) guided them to their imposing total, then Matt Hirst (4-24) shone with the ball as Idle were bowled out fot 94.

Third-placed Bankfoot proved too strong for Manningham Mills. James Holdsworth (63), Paul Ellis (40), Nigel Hanson (39), Michael Naylor (36), and Craig Johnstone (34) helped them to a total of 245. Mannigham Mills were all out for 105 in reply as Nigel Hanson (5-33), Wayne Robinson (4-18) impressed.

Young George Deegan made 75 as Spen Victoria defeated Great Horton by 71 runs. Deegan and Derek Warriner (48) helped their side post a total of 208 despite the determined efforts of Jamil Akhtar (5-17) and Shabir Ellahi (3-59. Zabir Ashraf made a determined 49 for Great Horton but his side were dismissed for 137 with John Ireland (4-16) and Faisal Rajput (3-10), doing much of the damage.

Keighley proved too good for Undercliffe as they ran out nine-wicket winners. Liam Dyson (66no) and Scott Hartley (50) powered their side to their victory target in just 25 overs.

Undercliffe had been dismissed earlier for 139 with skiupper Sam Brookes (44) top scoring in the face of good bowling from Andrew Coppen (5-17).
