It remains tight at the top of Division One with Baildon still just one point ahead of Pudsey St Lawrence.

Jamie Abbott (4-14) and Brett Kinsey (4-44) bowled Baildon to a 66-run win at Bowling Old Lane.

The home side were bowled out for 114 when they replied to Baildon's score of 180-9. Tom Forster (51) and Dominic Chalk (43) led the way in the face of some good bowling from Haseeb Younis (4-38).

St Lawrence, the defending champions, gained revenge for their opening day defeat by beating Bradford & Bingley by 33 runs in the return fixture.

Leg spinner Adam Hopkins took five for 34 and Josh Smith (3-47) as Bradford & Bingley were all out for 158. Andrew Clarke top scored with 41.

Evergreen Chris Hester hit an unbeaten 49 and Andy Parratt (34) as St Lawrence made 191-8.

With Old Lane losing, Farsley drew level on points with them in third place after beating relegation-threatened East Bierley by seven wickets, Barry Frankland was unbeaten on 56 when Farsley overhauled East Bierley's total of 134. Matt Anderson (42) and Craig Bell (37) provided the bulk of the runs as their side struggled against Zahir Mahmood (3-22) and Ryan Lumb (3-30).

With Pudsey Congs beating Cleckheaton by three wickets, East Bierley have dropped to the bottom of the table. Danny Cockin (39) and Ramandeep Kang (30) helped their side overcome the bowling of Shahid Rehman (3-23) and Stuart Houlbrook (3-44) to seal victory Kang had a fine match. He also took five for 39 as Cleckheaton were restricted to 159. Skipper Russ Noble made 40.

Liam Fynn took six for 39 as Morley secured an 88-run win at Lightcliffe. Thanks to Fynn, Lightcliffe were all out for 130 in reply to Morley's 218. Rob Crookes (33) was Lightcliffe's top scorer. Jack Seddon 949), Richard Winn (42), Naveed Siddique (31) and Andrew Kirkwood (31) all made valuable contributions for Morley.

The day's biggest score in the division was made by Hanging Heaton. They posted a total of 227-9 as they defeated Yeadon by 26 runs. James Byrne (61), Michael Smith (40) and Howard Ellis (35) led the way despite the efforts of Nick Darfield (4-54) and Richard Machell (3-53).

Yeadon made a spirited response with Dave Machell (60), Danny Hall (57 and Richard Machell (30no) taking them to 201-9.

Division Two

Hartshead Moor are the new leaders after they defeated Undercliffe by six wickets to go one point ahead of Gomersal who suffered a surprise two-wicket defeat against Manningham Mills.

James Tolson made a fine 80 and Matthew Donohoe (32) as Gomersal posted a score of 209 all out, but Mills snatched victory as Nawazishi Qurrashi (40), and Haseeb Rehman (43no), steered their side home despite the determined efforts of Josh Fell (4-55) and Chris Rhodes (3-40).

It was only Gomersal's second defeat of the season and Hartshead Moor seized their chance to move to the summit.

Nick Ward stroked a superb century as Hartshead Moor overhauled Undercliffe's score of 169 all out with 21 overs to spare. Rob Ellis (54) helped Ward to seal a win which was set up when Ally Byrne (3-6) and Louis Brooke (3-34) restricted Undercliffe. Liam Brealey (69) and Richard Elphee (42) dominated the scoring.

Third-placed Bankfoot are just three points behind Gomersal after a 55-run win over Spen Victoria. Chris Ignatowski (4-40) and Nigel Hanson (3-18) dismissed Spen Victoria for 131. Mahboob Hussain, returning after a lay off with a broken finger, top scored with 55 having earlier taken five for 27 when Bankfoot were dismissed for 186. Fehsal Rajput (4-38) aslo bowled well but Miles Robinson (44) ensured Bankfoot posted a winning score.

There was a tight finish a Idle where visitors Windhill scraped a one-wicket win. Amar Saeed (35) and Kuhrum Rashid (31) just did enough to see their side home as Dave Pearce took six for 34 against his old club. Idle were dismissed for 162 when they batted first. Young Sam Johnson top scored with 39.

Richard Robinson, the second highest runscorer in Bradford League history, made an unbeaten 97 to speed Keighley to an eight-wicket win over Saltaire. Nathan Barrett (49no) gave him solid support as Saltaire's total of 171-8 proved insufficient. Nadeem Asgar made 42 and Mohammad Khalilullah (39).

There was no joy for bottom team Brighouse. Mohammad Daud hit a rapid 84 not out as Great Horton inflicted a six-wicket defeat on them. Their total of 139 all out, which included 50 from Chris Curtis and 35 from Dominic Walsh proved insufficient.
