Round Two

Bankfoot, reinstated in the competition after their first round conquerors fielded ineligible players, clinched a quarter-final place in dramatic style.

They beat Undercliffe by one wicket thanks to a fine all-round performance from Nico Harabalidis. He took three for 28 as Undercliffe made 246-7 and followed up by hitting a superb 106 as Bankfoot squeezed home.

Jack Carter (81) and Sam Brookes (59) helped Undercliffe post a score of 246-7, but Harabalidis and David Dunne (53) ensure it wasn't a winning total.

Division One leaders Lightcliffe proved too good for Division Two leaders Hartshead Moor. Rob Crookes hit an unbeaten 101 and skipper Gareth Stevens (40) as Undercliffe passed Hartshead Moor's score of 197 for the loss of just two wickets. James Hardcastle (56), Martin Ellis (38) and Robert Ellis (36) were Hartshead Moor's top scorers.

Pudsey St Lawrence batsman Phil Wilson hit and unbeaten 129 as they defeated Saltaire by six wickets. Duncan Butler (46) and James Milligan (43) gave him good support as Saints passed Saltaire's total of 248-5.

Saltaire's total owed much to the efforts of Michael Thornton (83) and . Amarpaul Sarai (44).

Morley continued their good start to the season with a five-wicket win over Windhill. New recruit Naveed Siddique (77), Ryan Dowse (66) and James McNichol (43no) steered Morley past Windhill's score of 246.

Windhill's score was built around contributions from Tahir Amin (57), Andy Evans (51), Des Wilkinson (34) and Amir Saeed (42).

Baildon maintained their unbeaten start to the season as they defeated Cleckheaton by nine wickets. Only Massaver Masadiq (30) made an impression as Cleckheaton were dismissed for 100 as Brett Kinsey took, five for 17. James Butterfield (53no) and Chris Reynolds (45no) sped Baildon to victory.

Yeadon recorded their second win of the weekend as they defeated Bradford & Bingley by 76 runs. The aptly named Matt Yeadon took six for 17 as Bradford & Bingley were dismissed for 116 in reply to Yeadon's score of 192-8. Danny Hall (43) top scored.

Holders Hanging Heaton had little trouble seeing off the challenge of Division Two promotion chasers Gomersal by eight wickets. Pete Byrne took four for 36 and his son James Byrne (3-32) as Gomersal, despite 61 from Josh Fell, were dismissed for 149. Michael Royce (67no) and Chris Goodair (38no) sped Hanging Heaton to their target.

Pudsey Congs failed to take advantage of their reprieve after first round opponents Brighouse were expelled as they suffered an eight-wicket defeat against Bowling Old Lane. Keegan Moodley top scored with 48 as Congs were bowled out for 101. Old Lane cruised to their victory target with Riaqat Ali making 37not out and Khalid Rehman (33no).
