Disciplinary Hearing Findings –

On the evidence presented by the umpires and all other parties, the allegations of provocation against the Hanging Heaton personnel could not be substantiated, although the Hanging Heaton Club were issued a final warning regarding the conduct of their players.

By the player's own admission and action carried out by the club (Woodlands CC.) Mr Phil Walker was guilty of a breach of the ECB Code of Conduct 1.1.2 1.1.3 1.1.4 and the 10-match ban issued by the club was endorsed, but changed to 10 weeks in accordance with YCB. regulations, with a further two-year ban commencing from September 18, 2010 with the second year being suspended.       

In accordance with the MCC Laws of Cricket, the Management Board awarded the points for the match at their meeting on Tuesday, August 10. Each team received two points for an abandoned match and the bonus points earned at the point when it was halted. Both Hanging Heaton and Woodlands had a total of eight points, two for the abandoned game, and six bonus points, added to their record after the board meeting.
