The provisional fixtures for this year's Dyson Insulations Twenty/20 Cup have been issued to clubs.
They reveal that the 17 competing clubs have been placed in four qualifying groups - two playing on Tuesday nights and two playing on Sundays. Each team will have six qualifying round games.
Group One features last season's beaten finalists Bradford & Bingley, Keighley and Manningham Mills. Each team will play the other two three times. The top team will qualifying for the quarter finals.
There are six teams in Group Two so the teams will play four teams once and one team twice and here the top three will qualfy for the last eight.
Groups Three and Four will be played on Sundays. In Group Three, holders Pudsey St Lawrence, Pudsey Congs, Farsley and Lightcliffe, Spen Victoria and Yeadon. The top two will qualify for the quarter finals from each od these groups.
The knockout stages of the competions have been revamped. Two quarter finals will be played under lights at Bradford & Bingley's Wagon Lane ground on August 23 and 24 and the remaining two will be played on Sunday, August 22 on a ground to be selected by the organising committee. Clubs competing in his season's competition have until Sunday, February 14 to apply to stage these matches.
This season the competition will come to a grand finale with a finals day at Wagon Lane on Sunday, September 12, the day after the final round of league fixtures. The two semi-finals will be played in the afternoon with the final being played in the evening under the floodlights.
The competing clubs have until February 14 to notify organising committee chairman Alan Birkinshaw of any request for fixture changes and to confirm start times.
