Double-chasing Baildon bid to win Shield for first time

Keighley will be staging Sunday's final
 

It's second team Division One leaders Baildon against the cup experts Yeadon in Sunday's Sovereign Health Care Priestley Shield final at Keighley.

Yeadon, who won the trophy for the only time in their history in 2005, will be hoping to out their indifferent league form behind them.

Despite having reached the Shield final and the semi-finals of the Crowther Cup where they play Wakefield Thornes on August 15, Yeadon are still in danger of relegation.

In contrast, Baildon are bidding for a league and Shield double. They last won the league in 1945 as Baildon Green and have never won the Shield.
