Scores now have their own section on the league website so that they can check out the latest guidelines and advice.

A weekly newsletter has been introduced this season and that will be posted on the website each Friday. Scorers will also receive an email alerting them when it is available to be viewed.

The current documents library includes the users' guide for laptop scoring and the end of match procedures.

League media and marketing officer Alan Birkinshaw said: "We believe it is im portant to value the contribution of our scorers.

"We have been delighted with the way they have responded to the challenge of introducing laptop scoring.

"As a follow on for the training programme we introduced the newsletters and we believe that creating a section on the website is a further extension of this. We believe it will make it easier for scorers to access the advice and information that is being issued."
