Top three all level on points as title race hots up

Division One
The battle for the league title is hotting up with champions Baildon, Farsley and Woodlands all level on 172 points after today's games.
The Smallwood brothers Harry and Tom played decisive roles in Baildon's win over Bowling Old Lane by five wickets.

Harry took 6-43 as Old Lane were bowled out for 195 - a score which owed much to the efforts of Ehsan Ghani (75) and Mahmood Farooqi (41).
Not to be outdone, Tom Smallwood top scored with 64 as he and Intizar Mahmood (53no) steered their side home to a victory which earned them 18 points.
Fellow title challengers Farsley and Woodlands picked up maximum 20-point hauls from their matches with Bradford & Bingley and Hartshead Moor respectively.
Opener Ross Monaghan hit a magnificent 133 not out as Farsley chased down a Bradford & Bingley score of 257 which included a robust 91 from skipper Adam Swallow and 62 from Jacob Roach. Terry Staniforth (4-65) was Farsley's most successful bowler.
Woodlands opener also made 133. His superb innings helped his side to pile up 272-6 before dismissing Hartshead Moor for 145. George Saville (41) and Elliott Richardson (35) also made valuable runs for Woodlands.
Opener Nicky Ward (66) and Rob Ellis (34) battled hard for Hartshead Moor but lacked support as their side faltered against the bowling of Christian Jackson (4-39) and Adam Wood (3-56).
The highest individual score of the day came from Yeadon's Kieran Hanogue. He made an unbeaten 147 which enabled fourth-placed Yeadon to make 285-2. He shared a second-wicket stand of 152 with Carl Heptinstall (41) and added an unbroken 108 with Danny Hall (57no) for the third wicket.
The ten-men of Hanging Heaton never looked like challenging the Yeadon score and were dismissed for 155 as Paul Machell picked up 4-17. Michael Smith (41no) and Nabeel Hafeez (31) were the top scorers for Hanging Heaton.
Pudsey St Lawrence's Phil Wilson was the division's fourth century maker. He stroked a fine 107 as Pudsey St Lawrence made light work of chasing down Lightcliffe's 235-9 to win by six wickets with 17,5 overs to spare. Duncan Butler (62no) and Andy Parratt (45no) carried on the good work after

Wilson's departure.
Richard Thompson (54no), skipper Garth Stevens (45) and James Horne (34) were the main contributors for Lightcliffe while Chris Hester continued his good form with 6-91 for St Lawrence.
Bottom team Windhill picked up only their second win of the season as they defeated Morley by 24 runs. Tony Jones (64) and Khuram Rashid (37) steered their side to 212-9, then Rashid followed up with 6-59 as Morley were bowled out for 188. Ben Jenkinson (60no), Jerome Austin (41) and Ash Daley (38) were Morley's top scorers.
Division Two
Richard Gould made a sizzling unbeaten 161 as Gomersal chased down as East Bierley score of 301-8 to secure a nine-wicket win which enabled them to take over top spot from their opponents.

East Bierley looked to have batted themselves into a strong position as Gareth davies (66), Dan Abbott (57no), James Petty (47) and Leigh Abbott (42) took them to a formidable total, despite the efforts of Chris Rhodes (4-53) and Ryan Kitson (3-67).
Gomersal soon made East Bierley's score look vulnerable as Gould set about his old club's bowling. He hit 25 fours and four sixes and shared an opening stand of 186 with former New Zealand Test player Tony Blain (88).
Once Blain departed Phil Carter (36no) joined Gould in an unbroken second-wicket partnership of 118 which saw Gomersal secure victory with 7.4 overs to spare.
Pudsey Congs and Cleckheaton also leap-frogged East Bierley after wins over Idle and Spen Victoria respectively.
Congs racked up the day's highest score of 314-6 with Barney Gibson (85), Ashley Slater (62), and Callum Oliver (38) leading the run spree.
Congs followed up by dismissing Idle for 160 to wrap up a maximum 20 points for a 154-run win. The Johnson brothers Tom (37) and Sam (32) were Idle's top scorers as Wasim Bashir picked up 3-13.
Shahid Rehman (5-39) and Ahsan Zia (4-23) set up Cleckheaton's nine-wicket win at Spen Victoria. They bowled out the home side for 132 with only Faisal Rajput (56) showing real resistance. Cleckheaton were led to their victory target by opener Chris Dobson (78no) and Jai Mistry (45no)

The best finish was at Manningham Mills where the home side sneaked a one-wicket win over Keighley off the final ball. Nadeem Mumtaz made an unbeaten 93 which enabled Mills to overhaul Keighley's 228-6.
Opener Javed Iqbal (54) also made crucial runs as Mills sealed their victory despite the efforts of Ashley Robinson (3-50) and Hami Shahzad (3-59). Keighley had built their total around the contributions of Andy Waggett (59) and Luke Chapman (30). Shoaib Iqbal took 3-62 for Mills.
Opener Jack Carter led the way with 93 as Undercliffe made 245-8 before dismissing rivals Bankfoot for 171 to secure a 74-run win. Tahir Mahmood took 4-53).
Michael Thornton was in sparkling form for Saltaire as they defeated Brighouse by 112 runs. Thornton made a splendid 105 as he and Adeel Nazir helped Saltaire to a total of 274-7. Abbas Ahmed then sealed the win with a spell of 6-65 as brighouse, despite 74 from Dan Dunkerley, were dismissed for 162.
