Brook takes nine as leaders Farsley chop down Woodlands

Chris Brook produced a devastating spell of 9-56 as leaders Farsley maintained their grip on top spot with a 49-run win at Woodlands.
The youthful Woodlands side had no answer to Brook as they were bowled

out for 120 in reply to a Farsley score of 169 which was built around the crucial contributions of Stuart Kirk (66) and Ross Monaghan (53).
Second-placed Yeadon were involved in a tight game at Hartshead Moor where they eventually ran out winners by 11 runs.
Skipper Andrew Pickering led the way with an unbeaten 57 and was supported by Ryan Mooney (45no) as Yeadon made 199-4.
Hartshead Moor made a spirited attempt to go for the runs with the experienced Mick Baldwin (53) leading the way, but Nick Darfield (4-36) ensured that Yeadon clung on for the win.
Champions Baildon lost ground in the title race as they suffered a one-wicket defeat in a thrilling match at Morley.
The home side just squeezed past Baildon's score of 172 with one ball to spare thanks to the efforts of Richard Winn (38) and Ryan Dowse (32).
Baildon's top scorers were Dom Chalk (48) and Ross Todd (38) as they were confronted by some fine bowling by the impressive Winn 6-27.
Bottom=team Windhill kept alive their hopes of avoiding relegation with a five-wicket win at Bradford & Bingley. Tahir Amin hit a superb 120 and was supported by Jack Holland (46) and Paul Jones (30no) as Windhill chased down a Bradford & Bingley score of 259-6.

Skipper Adam Swallow continued his recent good form with 87 for Bradford & Bingley while Patrick Dixon hit 48 and Ben Chrispin (38). Lewis Dean was the best of the Windhill bowlers.
Bradford & Bingley slipped into the bottom two because Bowling Old Lane defeated Lightcliffe by three wickets.
Shahid Alishan made 46 to steer Bowling Old Lane home despite the efforts of Ian Towers (3-39) who had earlier top scored with 34 in Lightcliffe's 168-8. Mahmood Farooqui was the best of the Old Lane bowlers with 3-42
Hanging Heaton eased themselves further away from danger with a five-wicket win over Pudsey St Lawrence.
Michael Smith (65), Wasim Nazir (54no) and Chris Goodair (36) helped Hanging Heaton to overhaul the St Lawrence total of 208-8 which owed much to an unbeaten 77 from Chris Hester and useful contributions from Tom Whitaker-Hanley (41) and Tom Dalton (35). Michael Horner was rewarded with figures of 5-65 for Hanging Heaton
Division Two
Richard Gould hit a superb century as promotion-chasing Gomersal defeated leaders Pudsey Congs by 65 runs.
Gould has been a prolific runscorer for Gomersal since stepping down from the first team early in the season as his latest innings of 113 helped Gomersal to post a score of 225.

Phil Carter (40) also made a valuable contribution to blunt the brave efforts of Wasim Bashir (5-48) and skipper Callum Oliver (3-57).
Congs made 160-9 in reply with Andrew Stolarski (47no) their top scorer as Chris Rhodes took 4-52.
Congs' defeat enabled East Bierley - seven-wicket winners over Great Horton - to return to the top.
Paceman Dan Abbott took 3-36 as Great Horton were bowled out for 133, then East Bierley knocked off the runs with John Davis making 47.
East Bierley are now three points ahead of Pudsey Congs with Gomersal a further two points back.
Cleckheaton's promotion hopes suffered a setback as they went down by 165 runs at Saltaire. Hisan Ahmed took 5-18 as they were dismissed for just 86 in reply to Saltaire's total of 251.
Yasir Qadim (81), Hisan Ahmed (52) and Mohammad Khalil-ullah (45) piled up the runs for Saltaire despite the determined efforts of Shahid Rehman (5-61).

Keighley's Amjid Hussain performed a hat-trick as he took 5-18 in his side's 65-run win over Idle. Thanks to Hussain, Idle were bowled out for 111 in reply to Keighley'a 176-8. Openers Liam Dyson (32) and Luke Chapman (30) were Keighley's top scorers.
Another bowler to impress was Underclife's Sofian Khan. He took 6-35 to set up his side'as two-wicket win over Manningham Mills.
Thanks to Khan, Undercliffe were able to bowl out Mills for 165 - a score which included 46 from Zafran Ghafar and 40 from Nadeem Mumtaz. Undercliffe squeezed home with Jack Carter making 30 as Kyme Khan (4-36) and Shoaib Iqbal (3-33) bowled well for Mills.
To cap a good day for the bowlers, Brighouse's Dave Maloney took7-33 as his side skittled out Bankfoot for 59 and raced to a seven-wicket win.
