Brook strikes as Farsley open a three-point lead

Chris Brook took 5-44 as Farsley defeated Hanging Heaton 69 runs and opened a three point lead at the top.

Thanks to Brook, Farsley bowled out Hanging Heaton for 113 and the 18 points they collected enabled them to pull ahead of champions Baildon in the title race. Only Wasim Nazir (48) looked at ease for Bennett Lane side.
Evergreen Nigel Thornton (34) top scored in Farsley's 182 as they encountered some good bowling from Michael Horner (5-40).
The best figures of the day belonged to Baildon paceman Brett Kinsey. He took 7-42 as they secured a seven-wicket win over Pudsey St Lawrence.
The Saints were dismissed for 104 and Baildon eased past their score with skipper Ross Todd hitting an unbeaten 59.
Woodlands' title hopes were dealt a body blow when Morley skittled them out for just 59 as they raced to a seven-wicket win. Michael Davies (5-38) and Spencer Horsfall (4-11) ran through the Woodlands batting. Morley eased home for the loss of three wickets.
Yeadon moved into third place after recording a 102-run win at Lightcliffe. They compiled the day's highest score of 232-5 thanks to the efforts of Paul Machell (62), Carl Heptinstall (43), Darren Hall (39) and Kevin Gilks (39no), then bowled out Lightcliffe for 130. Slow bowler Nick Darfield (5-42) and Machell (3-29) put the skids under Lightcliffe.

Bradford & Bingley improved their chances of avoiding relegation with a five-wicket win over lowly Bowling Old Lane. Skipper Adam Swallow (51no) and Warren Allitt 931) were the key figures in the successful pursuit of Old Lane's score of 142.
Fazal Hussain (44) was the main contributor in Old Lane's 142 all out. The experienced Bob Hodson took 4-44.
Hartshead Moor showed no mercy for a Windhill side that was promoted with them last season. They bowled out the bottom-of-the-teble side for 72 with Jeff Wind (3-19) and James Hardcastle (3-27) bowling well. Hartshead Moor lost four wickets reaching their victory target.
Division Two
Leaders Pudsey Congs were a team in a hurry. They bowled out Bankfoot for just 53 and romped to a ten-wicket win.
Wasim Bashir (5-4) and Chris Doey (4-7) exposed the fragile Bankfoot batting, then skipper Callum Oliver hit an unbeaten 32 to steer his side home.
With Gomersal not playing, Cleckheaton took over second place with a thrilling three-run win over Manningham Mills.
Even a superb innings of 116 by Shoaib iqbal couldn't save Mills from defeat as Shahid Rehman (5-45) wrapped up victory for Cleckheaton.

Mills were dismissed for 171, so tantalisingly close to Cleckheaton's 174 which included a top score of 42 from Craig Blackburn. Nadeem Mumtaz followed up his batting heroics of last week by taking 3-32 with the ball this time.
East Bierley moved up to third place after securing a win by four wickets against Brighouse. Lee Abbott (82) and Gareth Davis (55) steered their side past the Brighouse total of 193. Dave Maloney top scored with 50 for the losers whie paceman dan Abbott returned 4-45 for East Bierley.
Phil Dixon's unbeaten 107 enabled Undercliffe to defeat Saltaire by seven wickets.
He was joined in an unbroken fourth-wicket stand of 132 by skipper Liam Brearley (43no) as Undercliffe swept passed the Saltaire score of 212-8.
Usman Munir led the way for Saltaire with 92 while Adnan Shafique (3-52) was the best of the Undercliffe bowlers.

Danny Simpson took 4-23 and hit 34 as Spen Victora defeated Idle by seven-wickets to record a rare win. Faisal Rajput (3-21) supported Simpson as Idle were dismissed for 99.
Keighley's young batsman Scott Hartley made 49 and was supported by Paul Wilkinson (47) as Keighley made 206-9 before dismissing Great Horton for 163 to record a 43-run win. Mohammad ramzan hit 60 for Great Horton while Jack Beetham was the best of the Keighley bowlers with 3-11.
