Methley lifted the 2011 Solly Sports Crowther Cup after producing a positive batting display to defeat Yeadon by seven wickets at Liversedge.
Danny Wilbor was voted man of the match after scoring 77 off 88 balls to enable his side to overhaul Yeadon's challenging score of 250-8 with 15 balls to spare.
Wilbur struck a six and 11 fours and shared in a second-wicket stand of 127 with opener Greg Johnson who scored 83 off 113 balls. His innings contained ten fours.
When both Wilbor and Johnson had departed, Methley's experienced skipper Andy Ward ensured his side reached their target by making an unbeaten 43.
The Yeadon bowlers perservered until the end but such was the confidence and assuredness of the Methley batting that they were unable to make the breakthoughs that they needed if they were to win the game.
Yeadon's innings owed much to a fine partnership of 101 between Carl Heptinstall and Dave Machell for the second wicket.
Opener Heptinstall made 44 but it was Machell who provided the bulk of his side's runs with a knock of 81 which contained seven fours.
Paul Machell chipped in with 37 but Yeadon lost wickets in the pursuit of quick runs and nobody profited more than Josh Thurwell. His eight overs yielded 68 runs but he picked up three wickets.
A total of 250 was challenging but as Methley proved it was in range for a side with a positive outlook.
