Farsley have been deducted ten points for playing an unregistered player in their Division One match with Gomersal on Saturday, June 25.
The Management Board has made it clear since introducing the new on-line registration system that it would punish any club who fielded a player not registered on the system.
The breach of league regulations came when Farsley played an unregistered junior just seven days after guidance was issued by e-mail to officials of all clubs regarding the registration of junior players.
After being informed of the decision of the Registration Panel to impose a ten-point penalty, Farsley exercised their right to appeal to the Management Board.
The members of the Management Board, minus the members of the Registration Panel, upheld the original decision and rejected the appeal.
