REGISTRATION REGULATIONS
Keighley suffer ten-point deduction
Posted: July 18, 2011

Keighley second team have been deducted ten points for playing an unregistered player in their Second Teams Division Two match with Brighouse on Saturday, July 16.

They fielded an unregistered junior and drew the league's attention to the matter once secretary Lesley Robinson became aware of the problem.

She said: "I instructed our captain to tell the league what had happened. We have no problem with the ten point penalty because this is something that shouldn't have happened."

Clubs are reminded that all juniors have to be registered before playing. Registrations have to be submitted by midnight on the Thursday prior to the weekend when the club wants the junior to play.

All clubs can check to see if a player is registered on the www.playerreg.co.uk website.
