Cleckheaton reached the semi-finals for the second time in three seasons after defeating Farsley by 24 runs at Red Lane today.
Cleckheaton batted first and built a total of 185-7 thanks to the efforts of skipper John Wood (36), Marcus Walmsley (30) and former Farsley player Jame Lee (27). Captain Ian Philliskirk (3-25) was Farsley's best bowler.
Cleckheaton's decision to open the bowling with spinner Andrew Deegan (3-20) paid dividends as they restricted the home side to 161-7.
Joe Greaves (46), Barrie Frankland (33) and Philliskirk (30no) tried to force the pace but Cleckheaton remained in control to clinch victory.
