| Joe Fraser hit a new record score in the Dyson Insulations Twenty/20 Cup |
Hanging Heaton's Joe Fraser hit the highest ever individual score in the Dyson Insulations Cup against Bankfoot on Tuesday.
Fraser hit seven sixes and 16 fours as he made an unbeaten 133 and beat by one run the previou best score of 132 not out which was made by Morley's Kashif Naveed against Brighouse earlier this season.
The former Driffield player reached his 50 off 24 balls and reached his century off 46 deliveries as the Bankfoot bowlers came in for heavy punishment.
His entire innings spanned 58 balls and lasted for a total of 68 explosive minutes.
Fraser was joined in a third-wicket stand of 172 by Chris Goodair (59) as Hanging Heaton made 250-4 in 20 overs.
Bankfoot made 139-5 in reply with their skipper Neil Nicholson hitting nine fours in an innings of 60.
