Lightcliffe members and guesrs will put Yorkshire captains past and present on the spot at a club fund-raiser.

Ashes-winning England skipper and Yorkshire stalwart Ray Illingworth will link up with current Tykes captain Andrew Gale to speak at the Old Brods Rugby Club, Denholme Gate Road, Hipperholme on Thursday, January 26 from 7.30pm.

The evening will enable people to hear at first hand from these two greats, as they muse long into the night about cricket, life and memories from playing at the very highest level.

The format will be similar to last year's evening with Brian Close with a chat about their lives in cricket, followed by a question and answer session. A well stocked bar will complement the evening.

Tickets are priced £10 and available from club committee members and most retail outlets. Buy now to avoid disappointment, we anticipate this being sold out well before the night.
