It's two out of two

After a close fought finish at Wagon Lane the second team made it two wins out of two league games and to complete the number two link they find themselves second in the table.
Idle with first team all rounder Andrew Marshall in the side whilst recovering from shoulder surgery made good progress through the Bradford & Bingley top order reducing them to 96 for 8 but some good batting from the tail got the hosts to a respectable 151 all out.
Marshall had the great figures of 15-7-19-3 and once again Paul Howker produced the goods with 15-5-39-4.
Idle never really recovered from the loss of Mick Birts (34) and Gavin Lyons (25) and only a well fought 31 from keeper Steve Bishop got Idle over the winning line.
