The line-up for the third round of the Solly Sports Heavy Woollen Cup was completed today when Wickersley and Esholt recorded victories.
Wickersley made 210 all out with Alex Hughes hitting 70 and then dismissed Birstall for 174 to record a 36-run win.
Birstall let their chance of victory slip away when they collapsed from 142 for two, losing eight wickets for 32 runs. Connor Williams top scored with 65 before Haider Jahangir (4-37) sparked the dramatic slump. Wickersley's reward is anothe rhome tie against New Farnley on June 10.
Esholt defeated Clayton West by 90 runs. Their overseas batsman Shazaib Khan hit 93 and Phil Carter (48) as they built a total of 261 for nine despite good bowling from Rob Kaskievicz (5-62)
Clayton West were dismissed for 171. Steve Rank top scored with 45. Esholt will now be at home to Golcar.
Two more ties had been scheduled for today, but Methley and Doncaster Town conceded their games to Woodlands and holders Barnsley respectively.
It means that Woodlands will now take on Bradford League Division Two side Undercliffe, while Barnsley face a tough trip to Central Yorkshire League champions Wrenthorpe in the tie of the round.
One outstanding Crowther Cup tie was resolved today when Keighley defeated Featherstone in a bowl out.
