With four league games remaining, the under 13's played against their nearest rivals Thackley away. A win would mean that we would then require just one point to win the league.
Idle won the toss and asked a weakened Thackley team to bat and they were soon in trouble losing their first three wickets with only eight on the board.
Thackley continued to lose wickets and were eventually all out for 35, the main wicket takers being T Johnson (3-6), J Moore (2-1) and M Shah( 2-4). Thackley's top scorer being the extras with 15. As Idle came out to bat the rain decided it wanted to start, so quick runs were required. The Thackley bowlers started well getting 2 wickets for 6 runs in the first 3 overs, but then the Idle batters decided that was enough and 30 came of f the next 3 overs giving Idle a 7 wicket win
