Goodaire strolls in the sunshine

For the third game in a row Idle lost the toss and were asked to bowl first. A steady opening spell from veteran Paul Howker and youngster Yasser Qadim produced three quick wickets.
They were replaced by Andrew Cookland and skipper Graham Dobson who made short work of the Windhill middle order and tail and bowled them out for 81. Cookland finishing with three for 19 and Dobson with three for 11.
In reply openers Graham Dobson and Bradley Goodaire made short work of knocking off the runs with Goodaire finishing on an impressive 51 not out coming from just 42 balls.
This win puts the team joint top of the league on 47 points with three wins out of three and takes them into tomorrow's Sovereign Healthcare Priestley Shield match at Bradford and Bingley in high spirits.
