After being confirmed as winners of their section the previous week, Idle were looking to reverse their only loss of the season when they played Bradford and Bingley.
With a number of players missing Andy Kemp captained the side and there was a first appearance for Chris Cummins.
Having won the toss, Bingley were put into bat. With the exception of Tom Cummins (12) and Chapman (10) there was little resistance and they finished their overs on 51-8, with all the idle players bowling. At the start of the Idle innings, Bingley got an early break through but it was their only success, as Mushy Shah (19 no) and Gavin Wilkinson (20 no) saw us through to a nine-wicket win.
