Bottom club Bradford & Bingley gained an eight-wicket win over relegation rivals Idle who slipped to the bottom as a result of this defeat.
Idle never recovered from a dreadful start that saw them lose their first five wickets for only five runs against Bingley's hostile opening attack of overseas player Ethy Mbhalati and Richard McCarthy.
Their overseas player, Sri Lankan Loku Dilhara showed admirable defiance with an unbeaten 37, but received little support and Idle were bowled out for 71 with McCarthy taking five for 29 and Mbhalati four for 11. Bingley cruised to their modest target for the loss of only two wickets and the 15 points they gained lifted them to fourth from the bottom.
Idle are now bottom, four points adrift of Bowling Old Lane, who slipped into a relegation place after going down by seven wickets at Pudsey St Lawrence.
