IDLE SUFFER ANOTHER DEFEAT

Idle slipped to their fourth defeat of the season after a shortened 30 over game went to the wire against Pudsey Congs.
After much of a rain delay Pudsey played at a steady rate and amassed a very credible 162-7 thanks mainly to an excellent 60 from overseas Afaq Raheem and a typically robust 30 from Andrew Bairstow, the pick of the bowling came once again from Greg Colehan with his usual whole hearted effort claiming 3-27 and Michael Allen who bowled very well at the death with 3-29.
In reply Idle were making steady progress against the Pudsey attack and only a real bad decision against overseas Loku Dilhara who made an aggressive 43 left Idle short of their desired target.
