Heavy rain resulted in Bradford's opening match in this season's Joe Lumb Competition being abandoned without a ball being bowled.
With rain falling for much of the day there was never any real prospect of play in the clash against old rivals Heavy Woollen at Liversedge.
It was all very frustrating for the new-look Bradford side who were hoping to give new captain Andrew Duckworth of Undercliffe a winning start.
Duckworth and his team will now hope to launch their challenge for honours in the competition at Undercliffe on May 28 against North Yorkshire.
Bradford had named a side which contained three Pudsey St lawrence players, off spinning all-rounder Chris Marsden and the twins Tim and Tom Dalton.
