Joe Lumb Competition

Chris Marsden spun Bradford to their second win in this season's Joe Lumb Competition - a 72-run victory over Craven at East Bierley.

The Pudsey St Lawrence off spinner took six for 53 in a fine spell of bowling which ensured that Craven couldn't threaten Bradford's score of 235 for nine.

Joe Greaves of Saltaire (2-51) was the only other bowler to take wickets as Craven were dismissed for 163.

Bradford had struggled in the early part of their innings with the first five wickets falling cheaply.

Bradfoird & Bingley's Scott Etherington started the revival wiith a determined innings of 53 and his good work was built on by the tail enders.

Saltaire's Usman Munir hit an unbeaten 45 while James Lindley-Dawe of Pudsey Congs chipped in with 39, his club mate Richard Jubb (20) and last man Joe Greaves of Farsley (16no).
