Bradford's Joe Lumb Competition season came to a gloomy end when bad light forced their match with Sheffield at Wickersley to be abandoned.
Play was halted after 29 overs of the second innings with Bradford on 141 for three in repoly to Sheffield's score of 200 all out in their 50 overs.
Scoot Etherington of Bradford & Bingley was the pick of the Bradford bowlers with four for 20, while Matthewman held the Sheffield innings together with a knock of 89.
Bradford made good progress in their innings with opener Tom Dalton (Pudsey St Lawrence) making 73, while skipper Andy Duckworth (Undercliffe) made 37 before retiring hurt.
