Rain wrecked the Bradford Junior League's third Joe Lumb Competition match of the season against Heavy Woollen at Undercliffe.

Play was abandoned two overs from the end of the first innings. Heavy Woollen had made 241 for six in 48 overs with Wrenthorpe's Luke Patel making 70 and Nick Lindley (Hunslet Nelson) also made 70.

Cleckheaton's Edward Walmsley was undefeated on 30 when play was halted. The most successful Bradford bowler was Sajjad Ali of Saltaire who celebrated his call up by taking two for 46.

Bradford have now won one game, lost one and had one abandoned in this season's competition.
