One of England's most successful cricket captains is to be the Man of the Match adjudicator at the Sovereign Health Care Priestley Cup between Bowling Old lane and Woodlands on Sunday, August 27 at Bradford & Bingley.
Raymond Illingworth, who guided England to Ashes victory in Australia in 1971, has accepted an invitation to select the game's most influential player.
Illingworth, who also captained Yorkshire and Leicestershire, is currently President and groundsman at his beloved Farsley Cricket Club.
Bradford League president Keith Moss said: "We are delighted that Raymond will judge the Man of the Match. He is one of the best known figures in Yorkshire cricket."
